Houseboat Vacations have become very popular because they appeal to everyone. Fun 'N The Sun's fleet of boats can acommodate groups of 2 to 12, and offers a variety of floor plans and sizes. While each boat is furnished differently, all of them are equipped with a water slide, generator, gas grill, ship-to-shore radio, TV/VCR, queen beds, a linen package, and a full kitchen with microwave. Fun 'N The Sun also offers free early courtesy boarding.
Fun 'N The Sun's home port is the Great River Harbor, 3 miles south of historic Alma, Wisconsin and midway between La Crosse, Wisconsin and Red Wing, Minnesota. The upper Mississippi River is unrivaled for scenery with rolling green bluffs and unspoiled sandy beaches. The majestic Bald Eagle calls the river and bluffs his home and can be seen soaring high above on any given day.
Our professional instructors, including a licensed United States Coast Guard Master Captain, make sure that you are comfortable at the helm. Many vacationers bring along their own boats. Fishing boats and canoes are available to rent.
